It looks like conditions were pretty bad in Poznan on Friday. Fourteen races were cancelled! We raced on this course in 2003 and had a day that looked like this with a brutal tailwind. Looking at the times, something similar was going on this past weekend. Adam's 500m time was one minute, 35.630 seconds which makes him the first to break the 1:36 mark.
Another great result for Canada. Adam won gold in both 1000m and 500m and Tom Hall won gold in the 1000m and was 4th in the 500m.
