I got out on the water a couple of times today - late morning and afternoon. In the afternoon, I ran into Mike out in the harbour on his SUP. There was a lot of chop but he's rock solid on the board. We paddled in together but he went back out to try and catch a ride on boat wash as the fishermen and sailors packed it in for the day.

News item that granite counter tops may have come from contaminated sites. "The cancer comes from within". yeah the fear-mongerers were calling the item something like that.

Went up to Chapters for a semi-annual book-buying blowout. I think I'm set for the rest of the summer.
