So fun - Saturday night Jackie, Blake and Tat hosted the indoor Olympics. Entry into this event was only $20 and proceeds go to sponsor Jackie for the Arthritis Society Joints in Motion trek this August. She's also writing and editing a cookbook which she's selling for $10 - email her if you're interested in purchasing one or two. They'll be ready in time for Mother's Day. Keep in mind that Jackie's a nutritionist - all nutritional information is provided with each recipe.
Anyway, back to the games...we had a random draw for teams. Attila and I were partners, Tat and John, Katie and Peter, Blake and Sarah, Kris and Carrie, Sue and Birdy and Tamas and Eric. Greg came a little later but just for the hang.... ...anyway...
events were run circuit style, 8 minutes at each event;
golf (putting), Headbandz, Catch Phrase, Pictionary, Trivial Pursuit and Dance Dance Revolution, plus a rest stage to grab a drink and chow down on the munchables.
It was a lot of fun and there was some pretty heavy competition especially on DDR. to be honest, I can't remember who won - I think it was Tat and John.
It was really fun and I've offered to have another one at my house if Jackie's interested.
